Diamond setting is the art of setting or attaching diamonds into jewellery. A well crafted setting serves several purposes simultaneously — it is used to secure the diamond in such a way that it enhances both the diamond and the metal used; it should also be resistant to wear and tear while protecting the stone; and it should complement and go well with the aesthetics of the piece.
